Frank Gaschler
I have been a certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication since 2006, as well as a coach and systemic mediator. From 2015 to 2023, I also served as an assessor in the certification process with the Center for Nonviolent Communication.
In this role, it was especially important to me to support candidates on their path to certification in a way that allows them to enter the assessment with confidence and a solid inner and and systematic foundation. At the heart of this is my deep longing to recognize and nurture people in their potential—so that they do not only understand Nonviolent Communication, but truly live and embody it, becoming a genuine gift and contribution to the CNVC community.
Meeting Marshall Rosenberg in 2004 influenced me in meaningful ways. I had the opportunity to experience him as a human being, as a trainer, and as a visionary—and many of the impulses from that time continue to shape my work today.
Another main focus of my work lies in the educational field. It is close to my heart to bring Nonviolent Communication to life in kindergartens, schools, and families—where relationships form the foundation for development. In this context, I developed the project “Giraffentraum,” through which I have trained more than 500 multipliers. The program has been translated into eight languages and is now used in various countries.
I am deeply guided by the belief that people thrive when they experience: I am welcome. I have a place. I am held. I am alive. This attitude shapes my work and is grounded in many years of experience supporting candidates, teams, families, relationships.
I have led trainings across Europe, the USA, and India, and I regularly serve as a trainer in International Intensive Trainings (IITs) and other long-term programs.
I live in Germany, near Munich.
